Emilia grew up with a love of animals that was fostered by her father’s love for the outdoors and biology. She has worked in the veterinary field as a veterinary technician in NYC for the last 10+ years and has pet sat professionally for the last 8 years, before moving to Colorado in 2019. Her experience has expanded into a love of educating and furthering other peoples intrigue and knowledge about their animals. This includes pet guardians and veterinary hospital staff alike.
Her specific interests are working with guardians who have just added a new puppy to their family, counseling and advising them on the appropriate ways to go about puppyhood. Even if it’s a newly adopted adult dog, she strives to help people understand the tools needed to help their dog thrive. Also, she loves working with reactive dogs and plans on offering more services catered to those special cases as well.
She lives with her husband, three dogs (2 German Shepherds and a Belgian malinois), three cats (one of which is a naughty bengal), a ball python and a blue tongue skink. It’s a zoo!
